Cuisine is a fantastic way to blend cultures.

It was a Korean meal I had the other day. While cheese isn’t typically included in Asian cuisine, it is in several dishes in North America. For instance, a cream cheese roll is a type of sushi that is popular in Japan. Asian cuisine does not usually use this item. Asians tend not to eat cheese because many of them are lactose intolerant.

I sampled a special Korean plate that consisted of portions of rice, green onion, egg, bulgogi, corn, and melted cheese on a metal pan warmed by components on the table. Three people may have shared the platter. It’s unusual to see cheese in Asian cuisine. I could taste the melting texture, like pizza.

For lack of a better term, the AAA beef “box sushi” gave me thoughts of Japanese food. The flavor of the Korean version differed slightly from that of the Japanese version. Although I had never tried either dish before, I thought they were good.

These dishes, in my opinion, were a fantastic illustration of how many cuisines from around the globe and different cultures can come together to produce something delicious.
